Gerard Steak

Really nice, except one thing...I put too much cayenne pepper in it so it was a bit hot for everyone.  But underneath it all it actually tasted really nice.  I used Wholegrain mustard but thinking that I should use the powered stuff as I couldn't toss the meat in it so I just put it with the sauces instead...still nice though.  I served mine over mashed potato - yum!

Will try it again with less pepper next time ;)

Ingredients -
500g casserole beef - chopped
1tsp worc sauce
1tbls flour
1tbls tomato sauce
1tsp mustard
1tsp salt
Nutmeg
1 1/2 cups water
2tsp sugar
1tsp vinegar
Cayenne pepper to taste

Method -
Mix flour, sugar, salt, mustard, cayenne and nutmeg and toss beef into it.
Place meat in a casserole dish and over it pour sauces, vinegar and water mixed together
cover and bake in slow oven for 2 hours serve with vegies
