Cake Batter Dip

*Tried and Tested*

If you dip strawberries in this...you will literally be in heaven I swear!  And I reckon if you were to dip banana in it as well...I think you wouldn't be far off.  I didn't have any banana today but I certainly had strawberries and some tiny teddies to dip in....even some of my macaroons were great to dip in too.  This dip is so yummy that I was asked several times for the recipe!  So here it is!!!  Very simple but very tasty.

Today I used 'French Vanilla' Cake mix...next time I reckon I'll use Chocolate and see how that goes.

Yum!

Cake Batter Dip

1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
125g. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup Cake mix (just mix powder, not batter)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 Tablespoons milk
1-2 Tablespoons sprinkles

*With an electric hand mixer beat cream cheese, icing sugar and cake mix together until combined.  Add in vanilla, milk, and butter, Mix for about 2 mins until smooth and creamy. (Mixture will be thick) Pour in bowl and top with sprinkles and refrigerate until chilled. When it first comes out of the fridge it will some what hard giving it a few minutes to come to room temperature helps. Serve with animal crackers, vanilla wafers, or your favorite cookie.
